“I think it starts with I really love what I do. So that helps me a lot with energy, with being fast with content and all of that. I do love it and also at the same time, I’m super grateful. So instead of complaining, I’ll just take it. Even the bad stuff. Of course, you die from time to time (laughs). I think I’ve been to several funerals of myself in the past. But everything is all about innovation and I love how fast paced my life is. I’m happy tired, it’s fulfilling kasi.

“But when you have moments that you have a lot, you just want your friends and you feel like you’re so misunderstood. But at the end of the day, you go back to your family and that should be enough. You weren’t really born in this world to impress people or to be a superstar. You just be yourself and if people love you then they love you for you and if they don’t, they don’t,” she shared with Boy Abunda during the taping for the first episode of GCash Spotlight in Makati City earlier this month.

In 2018, Heart had a miscarriage where she lost the twins she was expecting. Now, she hopes she can get the chance to finally experience what it feels like to become a biological mother.

“Because I used to question myself a lot before why i couldn’t and it’s so hard when you question yourself and you say things, but when I look back on my life, even the people and the experiences I’ve had, all the hardships of being alone, it all makes sense now. And I feel like, if there is any moment where I should be blessed, it should be now. Because I feel like I’m ready as a person and I would be able to give more because I’ll be able to tell her more and share more wisdom. I don’t pray for it but I pray for God’s work because I’m at peace with that. Time starts again,” she explained.

As a stepmother to her husband Chiz Escudero’s twins Cecilia and Joaquin, Heart said she is lucky to have them in her life.

“I have such a good relationship with the kids. I have such a wonderful relationship with them. You know it’s different and it’s difficult especially because I’m very child-like so when I entered the relationship, I had the mind of a 16-year-old so it was very difficult for me to be more patient, ganyan. I didn’t give them the gift of life but they gave me the feeling of really what love is and they really accepted me. For them to trust me and for Chiz to trust me, it was good practice as well,” she said

The popular GCash ambassador and well known animal lover also counts her pet dogs at home as her children.

“They’re my children. I also didn’t give the gift of life to them but they’re really something else. I’ve had a lot of dark moods in my life and Panda has saved me so many times so I’m really thankful for them. In fairness, hindi sila nagkakalayo ni Chiz sa unconditional love (laughs). I do (shop for them). I do, in fact, a lot (laughs). Diyan pumapasok ang GCash. So bumibili ako shirts, sando, I do a lot of the online shopping for my dogs, even their treats. So anything they want,” she added.
